Michael Chambers

I've been a TruGreen customer for several years and have always received efficient and professional service. My yard looks great and I'm very happy with their service.

Megan Flink

Great service initially, however after a few treatments I ran into some customer service issues. There were multiple times when someone failed to show up. After calling my local office and speaking to a manager things have been running smoothly since. Overall happy with my service, but have had some problems in the past.

Bill Haley

I am pleased with the service. My lawn went from about 85% weeds to about 15%. Unfortunately due to the drought this year and the water restrictions I am not able to water the lawn enough to keep it green so the lawn is turning a little brown. However, I'm very pleased with the amount of weeds that have disappeared.

Jared Dillon

I always get a courtesy call when service is due and they always come on the scheduled day. All of the people that come are very nice and professional. Very happy with my local service and would highly recommend.

The Benefits of Having a Healthy Lawn

Having a healthy lawn is obviously going to make your home more attractive. It also increases property value and makes the curb appeal greater, as we’ve mentioned. But what a lot of people don’t realize is how beneficial a great lawn is to the environment:

  • A healthy lawn reduces carbon dioxide and increases oxygen. Everyone knows that plants in general are great for the environment because they increase oxygen and decrease carbon dioxide, but people don’t usually think of a lawn as doing that. A healthy lawn contains thousands of oxygen-producing plants, however. Having just a 25-square-foot lawn of healthy grass produces enough oxygen every day to meet the needs of one adult.
  • A healthy lawn improves soil structure as well as overall air quality. Lawns can capture air pollutants like dust, dirt, and other allergens, which can increase the overall air quality. Natural lawn grasses can also encourage beneficial microorganisms in soil, which can improve the overall quality of the soil.
  • A healthy lawn preserves water quality and controls erosion. Soil erosion from water or wind can definitely happen, but having a thick and healthy lawn is one of the best ways to prevent that. The extensive root systems that are produced by healthy and thriving grass hold soil in place, and grass blades actually protect topsoil from the erosion of rain and wind.
  • A healthy lawn can have cooling effects and modify temperatures. The air temperatures over concrete and surfaces like that can actually be more than 14 degrees Fahrenheit warmer than the temperature above natural grass lawns. This explains why lying in the grass can feel so good on a hot summer day. The cooling effects also can extend to your home, which will help out with your air conditioning bills.
  • A healthy lawn can reduce noise pollution. Healthy and vibrant grass can absorb sound and reduce noise pollution around your home, which can be important if you live near a busy road or highway.
