    Arizona is well-known for its dry, arid climate. The average temperature during the summer months is in the mid-90’s and during the winter, temperatures rarely fall below 45 degrees Fahrenheit. The state is primarily desert lands and consequently receives very little annual rainfall. However, when storms do occur, they are usually violent and accompanied by lightning and thunder.

    Arizona lawn care can be a challenge because the climate is unsuitable for many types of plants. Buffalo grass is one common type of grass that can thrive well in Arizona as it is tolerant to droughts as well as temperatures extremes.
