		<description>I bought a repo house that was empty for 3 years in Lancaster, CA in 1997.  The only water it got was from the rain and that is not very much there.  The soil was sandy.  After putting water on what was left of the bermuda grass it took off like wild fire.

There is not much doubt that Bermuda grass is about as drought tolerant as you can get.  Just keep it short and you will be happy.</description>
